We are very pleased to announce that Andrew D. Reder is now a partner in the firm!
Andrew is an experienced litigator who devotes 100% of his practice to Marital & Family Law. He regularly represents business owners, executives, lawyers, doctors, nurses, stay-at-home parents, and other individuals in a wide range of family law proceedings such as divorces, paternity actions, and post-judgment proceedings. His practice combines alternative dispute processes, such as mediation and collaborative divorce, with traditional litigation. Andrew is a former prosecutor for the Thirteenth Judicial Circuit and successfully litigated numerous jury trials, non-jury trials and motions, including prosecuting domestic violence offenses. Previously, Andrew served as a staff attorney in the Sixth Judicial Circuit where he was responsible for advising four circuit court judges on various issues of Florida Law, conducting legal research, and drafting proposed Court orders, experience that provides valuable insight into the judicial decision-making process.
Andrew prides himself on his work ethic, accessibility, legal knowledge, and the personalized legal services he provides each client. Andrew holds a Martindale-Hubbell AV “Preeminent”® Peer Review Rating—the highest possible rating in both legal ability and ethical standards. He has been named to the 2020 lists of Florida Super Lawyers Rising Stars in Family Law and Lawyers of Distinction. He is a member of the International Academy of Collaborative Professionals, the Tampa Lawyers Chapter of the Federalist Society, the J. Clifford Cheatwood Inn of Court, and the Family Law Section of The Florida Bar. 2019, he was elected by his peers to the Executive Council of the Marital & Family Law Section of the Hillsborough County Bar Association.
Andrew earned his Juris Doctor degree with honors from Stetson University College of Law and his Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science with honors from Auburn University. Andrew and his family are proud Tampa natives with strong connections to the justice system and legal community. He lives in Tampa with his wife, Jessica, and their young children.
