Colorado ballot measure proposes education classes to marry

January 20, 2014

A California based group called “Kids Against Divorce” has proposed a ballot measure which, if successful, would require all Colorado brides- and grooms-to-be to attend at least 10 hours of pre-wedding marriage education classes.  The required class time would increase to 20 or 30 hours for those marrying for the second or third times respectively.  Click on the link to read more about the initiative.  The attorneys of Sessums Black, PA take pride in providing top-quality legal representation to clients whose marriages are irretrievably broken regardless of the pre-marriage education or counseling they received.
