Firm Hosts Valentine’s Party

Happy Valentine’s Day! Here are some fun photos from our “Havana Nights” Valentine’s party last week at the historic Cuban Club in Ybor City. The annual party is a special firm tradition that gives us the opportunity to let our Bay-area legal community friends and colleagues know how much we value their relationships. We didn’t host the party in 2021 due to Covid, and it was great to be able to have an in-person event this year. Thank you to our families and to everyone who joined us at the event.

Firm Rebrands as Sessum Black

On February 10, we announced to friends and colleagues that our firm is rebranding as Sessums Black Family Law.

Stephen Sessums started the firm in 1982 with the goal of building a first-class, client-centered law firm specializing in marital and family law and founded on the principles of teamwork, efficiency, respect and excellence. The name change reflects the continuity and longevity of the firm—now in its 40th year in business—and honors its first two partners, Steve and Caroline Black Sikorske.

Caroline Black Sikorske Attends Bob Clark Luncheon

Here’s a nice photo of Caroline Black Sikorske at the Columbia restaurant on February 4 for a networking luncheon with local business leaders. Bob Clark, president of Tampa Steel, has coordinated the luncheons for many years. Great company; great food; great networking opportunity—thank you, Bob, for hosting.
